Changes are a brewing!

Happy June 1st Everyone!

I are so sorry for the lag in updating my blog. I have been busy with so many things going on! 

We have permanently moved in to our travel trailer and have been at our Summer residence since March 1st. We have had a few ups and downs learning our new life...yesterday we had a storm roll through and lost our awning and our soft spot inside the trailer is worse so this week we will be getting work done on the floor and a new awning! Not exactly what we wanted to do with funds this month!

My friend Beth and I have been making 70+ albums for her upcoming family reunion. We started around the end of March and we are only half way done so we are feeling the pressure!!! Below are some pictures of the first album we put completely together. I will post a few in between as well. (Pictures do not show how beautiful they really are)

We have 30 done and 40 more to go! In between all the albums I have had two birthday party kits to do. One Spiderman (I forgot to take pictures!),one Pokemon and getting ready for VBS. Below is the picture of the Pokemon invitation. I will be working on his banner, cupcake toppers, and thank you cards this week!

I also found time to make two cards for two different challenges. One for Createful Hearts (below):

This was for Createful Hearts monthly FB challenge. Then next on will start on June 15. Hop on over and join Createful Hearts Digi & Designs FB page join and then join in on the challenge! (Prismacolor Pencils)

The following one was for the monthly challenge during May for Twinkle Lane Designs. It was a darling baby Digi. June's Digi is a very cute gnome. Go over to their page and join in on the fun! (Prismacolor Pencils)

I will be selling my cards, birthday packages, invitations, etc. here on my blog and my new FB page. Right now until I get through June with all the albums and VBS (I will post those pictures later this weekend!) I will take special orders. Just leave a comment here or on my FB page (papercrafting with Mimi) and I will contact you to get all the details of what you need! 

I saved the best for last. You may have noticed that the name of my blog has change to "In His Grace Paper Crafts". This will be the new name of my business beginning today. FB won't let me change the name on my "Papercrafting with Mimi" page so over the next couple of weeks I will be working on a new FB page. I will we posting on both FB pages for six months so it will give you all time to join the new page AND remember when we reach 100 members there will be a give away!!!

Well I better get off here and get to work! Beth sent me home with homework! I think I will charge her double time since it is the weekend! LOL!

Last Post and the most Exciting (for me) Post! #4

I am so excited my Fellow Stampin' Peeps!

I am going to start selling my specialty cards and items through my blog and FaceBook page! I have said I was going to do this for a long time but didn't have the confidence in my self. With my hunny, daughters, and some close friends encouraging me I am now ready!

These will be specialty cards and I will only make four of each unless I have an order for more. I will also do some 3D projects and I have a new product that I will be doing as well. 

I have some cards ready to put up but I am going to "showcase" my new event project first. 

Birthday party packs! In this pack you will get; 12 Invitations, 20 Thank You Cards, 12 Goodie Bags, 25-35 Cupcake toppers, and Happy Birthday (persons name) banner. This set was made for my youngest grand daughter and she choose "Frozen". I have and order for Spiderman and Ninja Turtles that will be coming up soon. These sets will sell for $60.00. If you need more of any items the price will be adjusted depending on what you need. I can also do adult birthday's. I can also do any theme you choose.

I will post some of my specialty cards this weekend. They will run $2.50-$7.00. I need to get pictures of them. Some of the other items I have done in the past are wedding invitations, bookmarks, candy holders, Christmas cards, note cards...really pretty much anything made with paper I can do!

Well I have filled your head with lots of stuff with 4 different blog posts. I was behind and I knew I wanted to tell you this today!!!

SWME Challenges and Video's too-#3

Hello Again, Again, Again my Fellow Stampin' Peeps!!

Createful Hearts Digi's and Design-TWO Challenges!

Hello Again my Stampin' Peeps!

As some of you know I am on the DT for Createful Hearts Digi's and Designs and in February we started shaking things up a little. We now have a monthly challenge on our FB page that runs from the 15th to the 13th (February 15th to March 13th). We give you a sketch and one of  Mary's Digi's. You have a month to place your card in the album for the challenge and then we use random.org to choose a winner who wins one of Mary's Digi's of their choice! I posted earlier in the month the card I made for that one but here it is again! LOL!

This Digi is called "Up Up and Away" I think it is really cute and I really enjoyed coloring it! The FB page is Createful Heart Digi's & Design

Createful Hearts Digi's and Design's also has a monthly blog challenge running right now from the 1st to the last day of each month. I used one of Mary's new/old Digi's that I fell in love with. It is called "Easter Cross". Our challenge on the blog is anything goes with a little twist. March we had to use green...I think I did it! LOL! Our new FB challenge starts tomorrow 3/15 and is using "Old Fashion Rose" and a sketch that will be on our FB page beginning tomorrow come out and join in! We have a blog challenge going on until March 31. Anything goes with a shamrock or a touch of green!

Outlawz Birthday Challenge!

Good Morning Fellow Stampin' Peeps!!

I decided to try a challenge on a different blog. Since I have several friends in the Outlawz and they have a challenge for each day I decided to try that one first!

They were having a Birthday Celebration Challenge using a Digi form SheepskiDesigns-Andrea Norris. They had games, which I did not know until it was almost over but I did step out of my box and at least colored the Digi and enter it! New Facebook-Createful Heart Digi & Designs Challenge!

Good Rainy, Windy (Very Windy) Morning!

I am so ready for Spring! I love Winter but it has become so rough on both my hunny and I. However we are here for another year or two during the Fall/Winter/some Spring then we will become Snow Birds! Not sure where, when, or what that will look like but God does!

Now onto business:

Createful Heart Digi & Designs has started a new Challenge! The Blog Challenge will go from twice a month to once a month still anything goes with a twist here and there! This challenge will go from the first of each month to the end of the month (IE: March 1st-March 31st).

The new challenge is on our Facebook page!! We will give you an image and a card sketch to follow and you will have a month to complete and post. We will pick one winner using random.org and they will win a free Digi of their choice from Mary Smith! During the month Mary will have some of her Digi's discounted for you to purchase if you choose to do so. This challenge will go from the 15th of each month to the 13th of the next month (IE: February 15th-March 13th).

The image is "Up, Up, and Away" the artist is Mary Smith. I am now working on my entry for the Blog Challenge on March 1st. I am using one of Mary's new sketches and I am not telling anyone which one yet! LOL!

Creatful Heart Challenge Blog 1/30/18

Good Saturday Morning!

I wanted to take a minute and show you the card I made for our next Creatful Heart Challenge Blog!

There is one challenge still going on until January 30 so you have time to get into this one! The new one begins February 1.

The three top winners get a Digi stamp from Mary Smith the artist of all the Digi's for Creatful Heart Cards and Digi's! It is a lot of fun and you get to meet new colorist from around the world.

I use Prismacolor Premier pencils. They are soft core and the colors are bright and beautiful! The Digi I choose this month is called "Girls Sharing a Secret". I choose it because it reminded me of my girls growing up. They still share with each other but on Face Time! LOL! In addition this month we have to have a heart somewhere on our card. I used Illustrated Faith paper and my sentiment is "Love you for Owl-ways"

Next month our "add" is lace! I better get my daughter to send me my lace from Maryland! (Some of my things are still with her).

I am headed to my Digi folder to print some Digi's to start coloring. All my pencils that I have been missing to finish my Kit and Clowder classes will be here next week! I can't wait!

Remember to join in on the challenge that ends on January 30 and then the new one beginning on February 1!
